Step into our cozy cabin and join us for a special four-hour weaving session starting at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 3rd with Kelsey Shapka, where traditional craft meets the quiet wisdom of the natural world.

Drawing on her knowledge of weaving techniques and eco-minded practices, Kelsey will guide you in crafting your own berry basket using gathered materials such as cattails and rushes. Whether you are new to weaving or have worked with natural fibres before, this is an opportunity to slow down, work with your hands, and connect with the materials that grow around us.

As an added treat, Kelsey will share her knowledge of traditional chai tea, inviting you to enjoy this time-honoured practice alongside your weaving.

Medieval Manor Gardens will round out the experience with sensory snacks inspired by ingredients from our wild woods and meadows — a little taste of the land to accompany an afternoon of crafting, conversation, and connection.
