Jun. 11th – Join us on one of our favourite nature walks – Whispers of the Wetlands. Native orchids and other amazing fen plants will be our focus on this one, but you may hear or see a myriad of wildlife sounds and signs as well. 10:00 am to roughly noon, we hope to catch some native plants in bloom, and will learn more about the importance of fens and other wetlands. Email dawnw@mmgardens for more info or to reserve your space.
Jun. 20th – Litha. This celebration of summer solstice has Pagan roots. It honours the sun as this centers around the longest day of the year. We are excited to have Kelsey Shapka guiding a birch barck medicine pouch workshop, followed by Fenshui – a sound bowl meditation in the mosses of our fen. Email dawnw@mmgardens for more info or to reserve your space.
