Our first official nature walk of the season will be ephemerals on May 7th starting at 10:00 am. Join us to experience the wonders of our fens and wooded areas on our property adjacent to Lake Isle. Animals like deer, moose, coyotes, fox, hares and a variety of birds may be seen as well as their signs. Perhaps you may hear one or see scat, tracks or bits of partially eaten food. There are also a number of evergreen and early spring plants (ephemerals) to identify. If you are patient with eyes open, you never know what you may encounter! Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. A minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 20 to run so book your spot before they’re gone, and don’t forget your camera! All participants will get a 20% off opportunity in Hieraeth (a deep inborn sense of yearning for a place beyond this plane of existence), our Anrheg (gift) shop, so you can bring something wild home!
