Alberta Open Farm Days Lil’ Raptor Races!

With Alberta Open Farm Days fast approaching, we are planning out our Lil’ Raptor Races. Our carefully raised racing chickens are in training to be the fastest feathers this side of Lake Isle! The race course has been designed and is set to go under construction starting next week. Now we just need some awesome local sponsors to help make this Kenclucky Derby the biggest highlight of the summer!

We have different levels of sponsorship from donating building materials for the track, donating a few prizes, to fence signage, or naming your very own racing chicken! Throughout Alberta Open Farm Days all sponsors will be acknowledged on our website and social media pages, as well as at the event itself.

Here are the levels of sponsorship available for our Lil’ Raptors Races:

Glascoch – Our top package for $75.00. This includes a roughly 2 ft x 3 ft banner with your logo/name to be displayed on our front highway facing fence line leading up to Alberta Open Farm Days and on the race track for the duration of the weekend activities (the deadline in order to have a custom banner done is Aug. 1st). You will be promoted on our social media and website pages and announced throughout the event. The best part – you get to choose your racing chicken (first come first serve) and submit 3 name choices! Contenders will be posted on our website with pictures and descriptions. Medieval Manor Gardens will choose what we feel is the best of the 3, and that will be your racing raptor for the weekend! Sponsors will get a private meet and greet with their chicken, and pictures in the winner’s circle with first place birds should theirs win. We tentatively already have 2 lil’ raptors sponsored so there are currently 10 chickens left to claim.

Beryl – Our intermediate package for $45.00. This includes promotion on our social media and website pages and being announced throughout the event. Sponsors will get a private meet and greet with one of the racing chickens, and their name on one of our limited edition chicken T-shirts available for purchase at the event and as prizes (the deadline in order to be featured on a T-shirt is Aug. 1st).

Saffir – Our easy entry level package. All you need to provide are prizes/merch for the event! These items will be posted in advance on our social media and website so make them awesome! Sponsors will be announced throughout the event.

Special sponsors – We are also looking specifically for someone to donate or discount materials required to build/renovate:

*the race track – lumber (some 2x4s and maybe a sheet of plywood or OSB), T posts, snow fence or other mesh fencing

*the Hiraeth gift shop – flooring, rustic display shelving or lumber for display shelving, some 2x4s, a medieval/rustic looking man door.

If anyone is able to donate some construction building time that would also be amazing!

Depending on what is provided, it may get you promotion on our social media, website, and at the event, right up to a Glascoch level sponsorship! If you have a local business you would like to promote, or you as a group or individual would just like to sponsor one of our raptor racers, please DM me for feather, I mean further details. Pictures and info about each racing chicken will be posted on our website and be featured on our social media pages shortly.
