Agoseris, Pale (Agoseris glauca) Alberta Native
$5.50 – $11.00 excluding_tax
Description
At first glance one may mistake this plant for a dandelion, but on closer inspection you will find it has thicker smooth leaves. Dandelions, while useful, are not from here whereas Pale Agoseris is native to Alberta. The milky latex can be used as a chewing gum alternative and has been used to remove warts. An infusion of the roots has been used as a mild laxative. The small seeds are food for many smaller birds.
