Description
Indigenous to Manitoba eastward, Swamp Milkweed as its name suggests, is happiest in wet conditions and will even thrive in clay muck soils. It reaches heights up to 4′ and spreads out almost as far. Pinkish to cerise/purple flowers bloom in mid summer and make nice cut flowers in addition to great pollinator plants.
