Description
This goldenrod is a bit more tidy with its candle like spike of flowers rather than the panicled style of many other species. It is also known as Sticky Goldenrod due to substance producing glands at the base of the flowers. It maintains a smaller size at higher elevations (plateaus, tundra), while lower down it can grow up to 2′ tall. This native flower can handle drier conditions and is suitable for container planting or rock gardens.
