Description

The white snapdragon like flowers give this plant its name, as it also resembles a turtle extending its head out from beneath its shell. It does well in wetter conditions in full or partial sun. It would be a beautiful addition to the edge of a bioswale rain garden or wetland area. It also provides valuable food to pollinators late in the season as it quite often flowers well into fall.
