Description
Not only is this a pretty carnation for a corsage, but it has culinary uses as well. This is the clove scented flower used to make grenadine syrup and candied flowers for desserts. It can sometimes be overwintered here with mulch and good drainage but is of Mediterranean origin so is borderline tender like lavender.
