Description

Most of the American chestnuts have been wiped out by a blight but some of the few remaining ones have been crossed with Japanese varieties for increased blight resistance. They are the most hardy of the chestnuts but have not been trialed greatly in our Alberta conditions yet, so we are offering them in limited quantities. It is hoped people will be willing to experiment so we can see how they fare in different areas around Alberta.
