Description
A rather attractive brome with a fine haired nodding seed head, usually one sided. It grows in a variety of conditions and reaches a mature height of 2-3 1/2 ft. It is a good forage species for many kinds of wildlife. Like many bromes, Fringed Brome is a clumping type grass without rhizomes, but having an extensive root system.
