Description

The leaves of this anemone are deeply divided and the flower colour can range from white to pink or sometimes even a reddish hue. It is somewhat hairy and the seeds are woolly. It grows in a variety of areas and is mildly poisonous, as are many members of the buttercup family due to a substance called ranunculin. However, this can be a plus when trying to prevent wildlife from munching on one’s landscaping as most animals will not touch it if given the choice.
