Description
A novel prairie plant in that from a distance, the pinkish feathery seed heads look like plumes of smoke, hence one of its common names. The gently drooping maroon flowers are aesthetically pleasing as well. Fully grown it is only 12″ in height so one can use it for faerie gardens, rockeries and container plantings.
