Description
Despite the name, this native grass can be found on drier sites as well as moist ones. The stems usually branch midway. Although it can spread via rhizomes it is not an aggressive grass and so it can be used in native lawn mixes. Those in reclamation work may want to choose more aggressive natives to out compete invasives.
