Grass Leaved Goldenrod (Euthamia graminifolia) Alberta Native
Price range: $5.50 through $12.00 excluding_tax
Description
Formerly Solidago graminifolia, this species prefers sunny moist areas. It has thinner grass like leaves (hence its common name) compared to other goldenrods and can be used the same way for edible and medicinal purposes. It still requires room to grow reaching a height of 2-4 ft. with a spread of 1-2 ft. but takes less space than Giant or Canada Goldenrod. A diverse number of wildlife utilize goldenrod for food and shelter including birds, bees and butterflies.
