Description

This geum has compound leaves, yellow flowers and a hairy main stem. It thrives in a variety of habitats from semi shade to full sun as long as it receives some moisture. The seeds are hooked to give them a ride to new locations, but they are not as sticky as burrs so easily removed. Historically the roots were used to protect the home from the devil, but a more practical use might be as a pollinator plant. Lol!
