Puddle Gardens Workshop

August 11 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We are offering not one, but 3 different Puddle Garden workshops to allow for family scheduling and needs. You’ve put your time in at work or with the kids so now it’s all about you! Consider attending this workshop starting at 7:00 pm. (running until approximately 9ish) on Wednesday, July 21st. *Note we have changed the date to Wednesday, August 11 to accommodate for changing the Wagner Nature walk due to the heat. We apologize for any inconvenience but on a positive note it should allow for more people to attend!

Here you can enjoy this adults only version of our Puddle Garden workshop where you can explore nature and art on a higher plane by learning to create your very own miniature wetland container to admire or replant into a rain garden or pond at home while socializing with other adults. Participants will learn about the importance of wetlands, some wetland plant species and the animal species they support. Bring your own water proof planter (approximately 20″ diameter) or choose one of ours for an additional $15 (+GST). All other supplies including an array of native wetland plants will be included. Cost of $50 (+GST) is per planter (a couple may share but please don’t expect to have 8 people share one planter!). This event will be outdoors at MM Gardens and social distancing, mask wearing and/or other current COVID protocols will be place. Please make sure to bring sunblock, insect repellent, water, and not your best clothes as they will most likely get dirty! Maximum 20 people including sharers.
